RHIOnet grants authorized members secure access to information through an intuitive web-based interface, while its distributed architecture and use of open standards assure adaptability, interoperability, and expandability for the futureThrough RHIOnet, APP Design is delivering  projects that process millions of transactions 24×7.

RHIOnet provides a robust security model to protect confidential information. Its extensive reporting capabilities allow monitoring of all activities. RHIOnet has an optional repository to hold information until an on-line interface is available. RHIOnet’s technology is highly scalable, and it is currently delivering over 5 million transactions per month to more than 35,000 users.

Community Portal

RHIOnet connects patients, providers and payers to administrative and value-added services by serving as the community portal for all communications. Users can access information, make queries, send secure administrative transactions and emails or connect to third party services through the community portal.

Single Sign-on

RHIOnet has the ability to provide “single sign-on” functionality. The solution can look up the proper login ID and password for the given host at the time of the transaction, alleviating the need for the user to remember multiple logins and passwords for multiple host systems.

Real-time Routing

RHIOnet provides real-time routing of any transaction. Its architecture delivers high performance and minimal latency and allows for redundant services for reliability and scalability. The solution’s Intermediary Database can receive batch data from information sources and deliver online responses to user queries.

Off-line Transactions

Since not all information sources are available in real time, RHIOnet can query a “stand-in” database which is periodically refreshed by payer or provider data files. The RHIOnet Intermediary Database can replace current multiple database architectures with a single, more easily maintained model. The solution also can easily incorporate multiple off-line data stores, each residing at the data provider’s site.
